The Light

Had this weird dream last night. I dreamt there was some discrepancies surrounding my matric certificate and basically I had to re-do it.

Yes, most of you would think it a dream, but no, for me it was a nightmare. I remember sitting in my school seat thinking; "I'm 26, I studied for years and now I'm sitting back in school with a bunch of 17 year olds, what went wrong?". Contrary to popular belief one does not really hit it off that well with school girls either at that age. They called me:'that old guy' and tended to avoid me. Of course, the fact of being avoided by the opposite sex isn't much different for me in real life, but that's not the point.

I was pretty sure I'll ace my subjects (having obviously done it before), and then I remembered - I had to do my Third Year 3 times before I passed it in Uni, so this might not be that easy. And then someone mentioned that we'll be tested on the creation theory... and I woke up in a cold sweat. As I lay there, trying to get my breathing back to normal I realised that I probably would not be able to get matric again and much like the time my drivers licence expired, the easiest solution would just be to buy a new one... and this brings me to my actual point - do anyone need to buy a drivers licence? I might know someone...
